Pokemon Go Player Was Looking For Pokemon, Found Dead Body
Pokemon Go is the new long-waited game for smarpthones (Android and iOS), which has been only a few days available and the world has already been going nuts for it! The game has features augmented reality elements, and invites users to search for Pokemon through their device’s screen wherever they are.
In essence, the app uses the GPS unit of the user's device, guiding him in the real world, in places that different pokemon appear, which of course can be seen only in the mobile screen. This results in many of the application’s users travelling several times to various strange places in order to get the chance to “catch” all available Pokemon, and become “trainers”, like Ash Ketchum in the popular series.
One of those people is the 19 year old Shayla Wiggins from the US. Shayla, who, while playing the game on Friday, instead of discovering a Pokemon, found the body of an unfortunate man floating in the river Big Wind. The girl alerted the authorities, who rushed to her location.
“I was walking towards the bridge along the shore when I saw something in the water,” Wiggins said. “I had to take a second look and I realized it was a body”.
What remains to be answered is whether Shayla caught the body or not.
