February might be a distant memory but the same can’t be said about the games that left an impact last month. For that reason we gathered the top 10 games that we consider the best of February and bring it to you.

The list begins with the FREE games and ends with the PAID games, for your convenience.

7 small Great games for iOS Android that made an impact this FebruaryZigZag (iOS, Android) by Ketchapp

ZigZag is the kind of game that proves that being simple doesn’t equal being boring. In this game all you have to do is tap. Tap on the screen to make the ball move while being careful to not fall of the edges.

By tapping the ball, it changes direction by 90 degrees, and by this you navigate it through zigzags. The graphics are lovely with soft colors and smooth movements. It's an addicting game, very fun, and you will fall in love with its simplicity and challenging gameplay.

5 small Great games for iOS Android that made an impact this FebruaryWorld Zombination (iOS) by Proletariat Inc.

World Zombination is mix of tower defense and strategy game in which you can choose either the zombie side or the human survivors’ side. If you choose the Infected, your task is to take control of the zombie horde, attack cities, create special zombies and destroy the world. If you choose the survivors you fight and defend the last remaining shelters by placing your teams in the right positions and take down the undead while protecting citizens. No matter which side you choose, they both have new units (over 50) with unique skills that you can unlock by training and leveling them up.

A downside is that after your energy runs out, you’ll have to wait an hour before you can play again. Since it’s a new game, I’m sure the next updates will fix this as well as some minor bugs.

Nonetheless, it’s a great multiplayer strategy game that doesn't require using the IAP to be able to enjoy it.

10 full Great games for iOS Android that made an impact this FebruaryMagic Touch: Wizard for Hire (iOSAndroid) by Nitrome

In this game you are a wizard that has to take care of multiple enemies who fall from the sky and attack you. These enemies are robots (yeah, I know robots and wizards is not a common concept and do not intersect usually) and thankfully they’re not falling down fast, thus give you time in order to do your magic tricks on them. The trick to defeat them is simple; you must match the shapes on balloons in order to pop them with your finger, and consequently cause damage to the enemies. This of course must be done before they hit the ground, otherwise they will reach the castle which you are trying to protect from them.

2 small Great games for iOS Android that made an impact this FebruaryMighty Switch Force! Hose It Down! (iOS) by WayForward Technologies, Inc.

MSF is a puzzle game based on the Might Switch Force series. Your task is to save your city from fire by controlling a member of Planet Land’s Fire Brigade, Officer Patricia Wagon and put out any fire that that starts in buildings and create a fire-free exit for trapped citizens.

Controls are fairly simple, all you have to do is slide blocks in different directions and tap and hold your character for the water spray to start flowing from the hose. When you put out all flames, you clear the stage. It sound more simple than it actually is because you’ll have to think beforehand which blocks you must move, and to where, so that the water can reach the flames. There are various block types to spice things up and test your abilities.

The downside is that there are only 25 levels that you can play for free and then you have to pay via IAP. You will probably feel that there isn’t enough creativity in only 25 levels and unless you feel like paying, you won’t be utterly amazed by the game. It’s worth giving a try though, as the gameplay is fun, the puzzles challenging and the designs lovely.

8 full Great games for iOS Android that made an impact this FebruaryAgent Alice (iOSAndroid) by wooga

Agent Alice is a new hidden objects game that takes place in the 1960s, a wonderful period for many people. The main character is Alice Wallace, a detective in The Agency, who solves riddling cases that take place around the world. During her adventures, you (Alice) have the chance to meet many other characters, suspects and not, in different parts of the world. For instance, a couple of interesting characters include a war veteran and a journalist (I cannot reveal more, unfortunately!).

Similarly to most hidden objects games, Agent Alice’s story is split into episodes, with each one unfolding a new mystery and taking place in different locations.

9 full Great games for iOS Android that made an impact this FebruaryFlop Rocket (iOSAndroid) by Butterscotch Shenanigans, LLC

Flop Rocket is a one-touch game app in which you are in control of a rocket that must pass through a wide cave, while being threatened by weird alien creatures such as giant worms, Spaceducks, and many others. Your mission is to prevent a space program from being cancelled. Quite a unique storyline, I must say.

There are a variety of missions for you to complete, plus items that you can use in each one, such as powerups to increase your rocket's abilities and coins to collect that you can later use for upgrades.

This game has two versions available: a free version, which comes with ads and limited possibilities, and a premium version that is ad-free and includes more features. You can enjoy the game even without the premium version so there is a high chance of you sticking with the free version instead of buying the premium version. Nevertheless, you should try it out and decide for yourselves.

6 small Great games for iOS Android that made an impact this FebruaryAG Drive (iOS) by ZORG, $3.99

AG Drive is a futuristic racing game that captivated not only us but countless players and we can say with absolute certainty that you won’t regret purchasing it. The most amazing aspect of the game is how gorgeous it is to look at. The graphics are absolutely stunning and the developers not only deliver a game that takes place in the future but also brought the future to game apps with this masterpiece. The races themselves are fast-paced, you challenge anti-gravity, and race against opponents on a variety of tracks that exist in different parts of the futuristic city that AG Drive takes place.

The racing modes include, except the usual ones (e.g. time trials), elimination modes in which the “car” that is in last place is eliminated every twenty seconds. You can unlock more levels as you level up.

AG Drive is a very fast racing game that you need to try even if you’re not very fond of that type .

1 small Great games for iOS Android that made an impact this FebruaryAlto's Adventure (iOS) by Snowman, $1.99

Words can’t describe how beautiful this endless runner is. This game took us by surprise with its amazing minimalistic graphics, original soundrack, and fluid animation design. In Alto’s Adventure you are in control of Alto and his friends who snowboard endlessly across the beautiful alpine hills, vllages, and ancient ruins that wait to be discovered.

What makes it even more interesting apart from the snowboarding aspect is that during your quest you are given goals (180 goal precisely), such as  rescuing runaway llamas, grind rooftops, leap over chasms and many more adventures.

It’s a game that makes it really hard to put down. You’ll always come back asking for more even though you know it’s an endless runner that won’t reach a finishing line.

4 small Great games for iOS Android that made an impact this FebruaryThe Detail (iOS) by Rival Games Ltd, $2.99

Last but not least we have The Detail. It is a crime noir adventure that takes place in a modern American city.

In this game you can control the actions of a veteran detective who is investigating a murder and also you control a reformed criminal who is trying to protect his family. Your choices affect the results and the consequences become apparent soon after. The gameplay is all about making choices and most of it is like reading a graphic novel.

If you enjoy a good crime/mystery game you won’t be disappointed. But if you prefer games that the player has more to do than making choices and then watch the results, then try something else.

That concludes the list of the best games that we played in February! Let us know which ones you’ll be playing in the comments below!
