PCLTool SDK 32-bit 14.6
Published by Page Technology Marketing Inc. on 13 Aug 2014
"Convert, Index, Split, View and Edit PCL"PCLTool SDK is a collection of tools for converting PCL into a variety of formats BMP, EMF (RAW), JPG, PCX, PDF Raster, PDF Vector, PMF, PNG, PWG, PCLm, TIF, WMF and XPS. PCLTool SDK is unique in that it uses its own internal font engine to rasterize fonts "on-the-fly" creating either bitmap files (PNG, TIF, etc.) at various resolutions or vector files (EMF, PDF, etc.) with TrueType fonts to match those resident fonts in Windows and in HP LaserJet Series IV.
PCLTool SDK provides the ability to search multi-page PCL print files with up to three text strings, generating a hit list of all the pages of the found text strings. The user can then select which PCL pages on the hit list to extract view and/or print. It can also generate an index of the text extracted from fixed field locations on the PCL page.
PCLTool SDK comes with a sample application program (PCLTool.exe) that exercises all of the functions of both DLLs provided. PTC32.dll does the conversion from the source PCL file into the target file format and creates a placeable and device-independent file. PTV32.dll can preview the converted file on the screen or it can print it to the current Windows printer driver.
Requirements: Any 32-Bit or 64-bit Windows Operating System Win Server 2003 and above.
What's new in this version: New features included in v14.6 are ADA-Compliant "Read-Out-Loud†PDFs and SMTP Email Output functions that enable end users and developers to email converted PCL output as an attachment.
