The program is 100% clean from spyware and malware, and it’s not bundled with any other 3rd party software. Overall, it won’t take more than a couple of minutes to finish setup.
It can work under Windows 98, NT, 2000, XP, 7 and 8.
DC Number2Text has no interface, since it runs as a COM class and can be included in any development language that supports COM based applications, such as Visual Basic, Visual C++, Borland C++, Delphi and many others. For examples of how it can be used, two tutorials are included in the setup; one that is developed with Visual Studio 2008 and one with Visual Studio 2010.
It only needs a few lines of code to implement in the application you are developing. Firstly you need to register your license using a particular function (setRegistrationKey Function) and then you can continue working with your program. There are 4 other functions included: translateNumber function, setCurrency function, setArabicCurrency function and setCurrencyMode function. The first one is used whenever you want to translate a number into text. It has two parameters, one is for inputting the value of the number that you want to translate, and the other is the language ID. Each ID is assigned to a different language, and the input number will be translated to that particular language. 13 languages are supported: English, French, Arabic, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Persian, Korean and Chinese (both traditional and simplified supported). The other functions are used for choosing the appropriate currency and its desired format.
The product’s homepage and help files are sometimes of poor quality in terms of grammar and syntax. However it is a fortunate fact that there is nothing too complex in this program that needs particularly thorough explanation. In addition, it is a very overpriced product that its capabilities do not justify.
