"Audio controls for C# and VB.Net developers."

Alvas.Audio is a .NET library for the C# language. However, this library collection is useful for both C# and VB.NET developers to create applications that make use of audio playback, recording of audio, editing sounds and performing various conversions. Recording offers a strong set of compressed audio types including CCITT A-Law, MPEG 3, GSM 6.10, IMA ADPCM and others. It's also possible to pause and then continue recording as needed. Play sounds and music, or playback what you've just recorded to see how it sounds. The mixing controls and features are admittedly rather basic. This is no expansive mixing desk, but there are still some interesting options like taking two mono audio streams and merging them into a single stereo one.

Alvas.Audio Key Features:

  • .NET library for use with C# and VB.NET
  • Save audio in CCITT A-Law, MPEG 3, GSM 6.10, IMA ADPCM and others
  • Play audio
  • Mix tracks together. Limited mixing options
  • Requires .Net Framework 2.0 or later

Alvas.Audio is a basic but still decent .NET library to add audio playback, recording and mixing to apps.

Requirements: .Net framework 2.0 or later

What's new in this version: New AudioCompressionManager.ConvertMultistep method allows multistep conversions the audio data from the specified old format to the new format. Also were added: - Web c# and examples - Drivers c# and examples
