VintaSoftTwain.NET SDK is the cutting-edge TWAIN scanning component which allows you to control work of flatbed and ADF scanners, web and digital cameras and any other TWAIN device from .NET environment. Two editions of TWAIN .NET SDK are available to be licensed: Standard edition or Standard + WPF edition. With this library you can fully control the image acquisition process, use the automatic document feeder, clean up images using noise removal, auto border crop, blank page detection and more. Acquired images can be saved to local disk or into tables of a SQL database, images can be uploaded onto Web or FTP servers. Supported image file formats: BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, multipage TIFF, PDF or PDF/A. The library was tested and has usage examples written in: VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET.

Requirements: .NET Framework 2.0 or higher, WPF 3.5 or higher

Optimized image acquisition algorithm to be more compatible with Kodak, HP, Canon, Plustek scanners. Improved despeckle and border removal algorithm.
