FathZIP is a high-performance data compression COM component for Windows developers that provides the capability to create and manipulate industry-standard zip files. It is fully compliant with COM/ActiveX control and can be used in any ActiveX/COM Windows development tools such as Visual Basic, MS Access, MS Visual C++, ASP, and Windows scripting.

The FathZIP component is easy to use and requires minimal technical expertise. It includes simple methods that enable developers to get information about files in an archive, create ZIP archives, compress, extract or remove files from them, make self-extracting archives, read/write archives that span multiple disks, or compress data from/to memory.
