Short description

TightVNC is a remote control utility to enable the access of a PC either over a LAN or via the internet. Login in to software to access another PC. It works via small jpeg files which help to reduce the transmission volume when viewing remotely on a slower connection. The login station can zoom in to a specific part of the screen, control what actions are taken on the PC and see the results. The software works similarly to other packages like LogMeIn and TeamViewer. The package is free but it does not support audio streams so it is not suitable to logging into a PC to play music or view a video file. In reality though, unless streaming on a local network these would lag too much anyway.
