Short description

Angry IP Scanner is a way to list a series of IP addresses and see whether they are responding by sending a ping out to them and waiting for a response. A ping essentially is like a radar sending out a signal and seeing how long it takes to respond except in this case the receiving server is required to respond. The program can be used to test response rates of computing devices attached to a home or business network, or it can be used to test whether a web site is still operational. Every web site has an IP address associated with it. The software can specifically ping other computers. Information for local computers includes workgroup, name, MAC address and current user.

Angry IP Scanner Key Features:

  • IP scanning across local network or the internet for web sites
  • Ping a computer on the network or a web site to see how long it takes to respond
  • For local computers on the network, see workgroup, name, MAC address and current user
  • Requires Windows

Angry IP Scanner is a ping response time scanner for Windows.
