As expected, the graphics are much better than the previously released Angry Birds game apps. Moreover, it becomes nicer with each additional level that emerges. Now you can truly say that the game has the depth of a 3D feel to it!
The plot of the game is exciting. The Angry Birds discover that two rare macaws are being held hostage in Rio de Janeiro and they decide to help them escape. The action takes place in all sorts of blooms in South America, from sunny beaches and rural and urban landscapes to the peaks of snow capped mountains.
The gameplay is similar to the one you know from the classic Angry Birds. If you want your birds to fly, then slide your fingers on the screen, pull back and release. In case you want to release the special abilities of the bird, then tap the screen during fights. In a nutshell, it is a simple formula and has precise controls.

The main issue with Angry Birds Rio is that it contains ads. However, depending on your level of tolerance regarding ads, you can continue playing it like this for free or get the paid version and remove those pesky ads forever.
