Protegent is derived from the French word Protegee which means “To Protect”. Protegent360 has four modules - Protegent Totals Security, Data Leakage Prevention, Activity Monitoring and Reporting and System Tracking with Data Encryption.

As the name suggests Protegent360 provides complete protection for your business, data, child and laptop from viruses, spyware, spam, phishing and all internet threats with the facility to monitor every activity of user and block / unblock computer ports as per your requirement. It also provides protection for laptop / desktop from physical theft with data encryption. Protegent360 allows the user to safeguard their data / files from unauthorized access. It prevents vital and important data to be transferred from one computer to another using Flash drive, DVD/CD writers, PCMCIA ports, Ethernet ports, Printer ports, Infrared ports etc. It provides the options to lock/unlock single or multiple ports. It allows user to block ports with different lock type options as permanent, specific time duration and when the computer remains idle or untouched. Protegent360 provides complete logs of all the activities with actions performed including changes in settings, locking and unlocking the ports, setting scheduler etc.
