"GcMail is a very flexible Mailclient."
Overview
GcMail is a flexible email client that offers a good deal of configuration options to let the user effectively create their own setup.
Security is a top feature of GcMail. There is an encrypted email solution which will work with any other users who also share the use of GcMail on their own desktop PC. It is also possible to create private email messages via the PGP method.
An unlimited number of user accounts can be added to the software. An unlimited number of email accounts can also be added. The search function is quite extensive which it would need to be given the potential scope of the email database for all the accounts and users the software can handle.
There is both a global address book and a private address book. Web bots included within emails received can be locked to prevent them communicating back to the base with new information.
Filters can be applied to emails in order to organize them automatically as they are received. Folders can be created to place emails into and any folders can be made private. A spam filter is also included.
Spell checking is also included to deal with any typing errors before the email gets send out.
Installation
The installation proceeded without any problems. Once installed, the software asked for a valid email address to register the use of the software for the 30 day trial period.
There was no toolbars, adware, spyware or malware included with the setup package.
GcMail requires Windows 8, 7, or Vista (64 bit or 32 bit).
Interface
The interface is modern and very usable. It has the usual user-created folders, message list and email viewing panes.
Overall, the email app interface is very familiar for anyone who has used an email client before.
Pros
- Email client supporting unlimited users and unlimited accounts
- Spam filters
- Email filters to sort email as it is received
- Private and global folders
- PGP secure emails
- Encrypted emails via two people using GcMail to communicate
- Spell checker
- 30 day trial period
Cons
- A premium-priced email client is a tough sell in a market full of free email clients like Thunderbird from Mozilla.
Alternatives

Conclusion
GcMail is a decent enough email client, but it is only offered on a 30 day trial. Many other email clients are free and offer similar functionality.
