"Browse the web lightning fast with Xtravo."

While Xtravo Web Browser isn’t quite known like Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, it has all the necessary features you need to surf the web safely. These features include tabbed browsing, browser password protection, dual search box, popup blocker, code inspector, HD support for media files and the newly added Acid Address bar which is basically an auto complete feature for the URL address bar. It is not heavy, so you don’t have to worry about crashes or computer slowdowns at all.

The installation package is so small that not only it will be downloaded and installed with the blink of an eye, but you won’t even notice the difference in system resources when you run it. It is surprising how such a small program has so many features.

It is built for use under any Windows operating system.

It has a very user friendly interface, small fonts and buttons so that they do not take up much space and more content is displayed in the main screen. It has the address bar on the top left corner and the search box on the top right corner, next to the tools and options button. The tabs are positioned right under that bar. First time you run the browser you will be welcomed with a window which will give you an insight of its main features, and then you will be taken to the Jawoco’s search page, which is also set as the home page and search.

One of the recent features that have been added is Acid Address Bar, which is designed to take you to the correct website just by typing a few keywords in the address bar. An accurate description would be that it is a combination of the auto-complete feature and the “I’m feeling lucky” button in Google.

Another useful function is the dual search box. It works just like a normal search box used to search the web using the search engine of your choice, but by pressing CTRL + Enter you can search Wikipedia for any information.

The Lockup feature allows you to password protect the browser so that only you (or anyone who knows the password) have access to it. This way you can prevent anyone from viewing your surfing history and other private data.

There are no cons. It is easy to use, fast, lightweight and is loaded with many useful features. It also gets updated regularly to fix bugs and make improvements.

Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera (Win, Mac), Safari, Netscape are the most popular web browsers. It’s a slim chance that you haven’t used any of them, but if you haven’t then do check them out as they offer a lot to your surfing experience.

Xtravo Web Browser is a perfect example of how a not so known software can be equally good as any other with a huge reputation. In fact, it is preferable since it requires unbelievably low resources to work and includes a variety of features that you don’t see in other browsers, at least not as plug-ins and extensions which just make them consume more memory and processing power. Download it and see for yourselves how great this browser is.

Requirements: Updated Windows Vista and Windows 7. IE9 updated to use Trident engine.

What's new in this version: Introducing Acid Address bar, Trident engine 6.0 support, Lockup feature, HD support, auto-update, new UI and much more.
