Kiran's Typing Tutor is a very basic typing tutor that doesn't match up to the paid competition however it is offered free of charge. The interface is basic and uninspiring. There are elements which interact with the user when they are moused over, just six options and a settings menu. There are typing lessons included with the program which is unusual to have offered for free. Type practice is also useful to do and a typing test can confirm what progress you are hopefully making. There are also some games to practice typing, using the numeric keypad for typing and a kids version as well.
