Short description

Dead Pixel Tester is a TFT and LCD monitor utility to work with dead pixels to see if there are any on the screen. Dead pixels start as either too dark or too bright when displaying on a TFT or LCD monitor. This can be distracting when watching a movie or looking at a wallpaper. Stuck pixels are also often mistaken for dead pixels as well which can be fixed if worked on. The Dead Pixel Tested runs through a process of cycling through red, green, and blue colors to see if any of the pixels on the screen do not change color with the rest of the pixels and therefore stand out more cleanly, perhaps for the first time.

Dead Pixel Tester Key Features:

  • Check for dead pixels on a TFT or LCD monitor
  • Runs a test by rotating through red, green and blue colors to see if any pixels don't change color
  • Requires Windows XP, Vista, 7 or 8

Dead Pixel Tester is a testing utility to see if there are any dead pixels.
