"WeFi - Easily find and Connect to free WiFi!"

Overview

WeFi is hotspot wireless access utility that will let the user connect to many hotspots around the world from a single interface. The WeFi global mapping project works hard to add new Wi-Fi hotspot information to their growing list of available wireless networks.

There is a map within the WeFi network which will show the location of each Wi-Fi hotspot so that users know where to locate a good wireless signal. Participating users can show their online status to friends who are also using the WeFi application at the same time.

There is the WeFi hotspot directory that can make it easier to find an open wireless location near wherever you are located. The app can be set to automatically connect to an available wireless network, only the approved “WeSpots” or just to the wireless hotspots already marked as favorites.

There are also 90,000 premium hotspots located around the world, so it is usually quite a simple matter to find an open access point to get connected. The premium access points comes with a premium account. There are also non-premium Wi-Fi hotspots available too.

The interface is attractive with separate sections for free networks and premium hotspot networks. Wi-Fi maps are also included to pinpoint where each Wi-Fi hotspot is.

Installation

The installation proceeded without any difficulties. There was no malicious malware, spyware or toolbars included.

WeFi software requires Windows XP, Vista, 7 or 8 and a wireless adapter (software provides a warning if it cannot find a wireless adapter to use in the PC)

Interface

The interface is attractive and easy to use. There are menu buttons at the top of the interface for Network, My Profile, Wi-Fi Maps, Premium and Settings.
