"Automatically Record & Convert Radio Shows"
Replay Radio is a great way to get around being out or unavailable when a radio show or podcast is being broadcast live. The software can record content from radio shows and podcasts like content from NPR, BBC and Sirius / XM as well. There is the Replay Radio Media Guide which will pull in show information for station listings and can be searched whenever it is needed. Want to find a favorite DJ and you're not sure which radio station they work at any more? The guide can help to locate their latest show offering for you. Pick a show, select to record it, and the software can do the rest. Longer recording can be reduced down by splitting it up into smaller audio clips for sharing with others or transferring on to a digital device to listen to later on. Convert recordings into different formats to suit the device the clips will be played on.
The setup package first unpacks the date. Then the license agreement. The application itself needs 48.6 MB of available disk space to install. There are a number of different components presented with checkboxes next to them to pick which to install. These can be changed depending on whether the user picks Recommended, Minimum, Full or Custom setup. A desktop icon and Start Menu entry can be included within the setup. The software will run on Windows XP, Vista, 7 or 8.
The interface is very simple. There is a well spaced menu at the top with the following options: File, Guides, Schedule, Tools, and Help. Two tabs below the menu are Schedule and My Recordings. The display sections below the tabs will change depending on which tab has been selected.
There are also large buttons near the bottom of the window for Tune, Guides, Add show and Quick record. Below these are the playback controls for shows already recorded for the user.

What's new in this version: Added new splitting functions: split long recordings at regular intervals or at specific times. Better conversion support. Now can record from line-in. Support for audio splitting and "at complete" schedule events. Fix for shorthand timestamp naming in split recordings. Other general bug fixes.
