Short description

Unknown Device Identifier is a software solution that can pull up all the hardware that is currently noted as unknown within the Windows system. These are usually shown as yellow question marks inside the device manager but have to be hunted down by going into each section to see the more clearly; this package brings them all together neatly in a single display. The process of identifying these unknown devices takes less than a minute to scan and display the information clearly to users. Locate a drive, access the original vendor online, auto detect features and printing options are present. A current driver can also be backed up prior to upgrading a driver just in case a hardware component solution backfires.

Unknown Device Identifier Key Features:

  • See which hardware components have issues which are shown by yellow exclamation points usually in the Device Manager
  • Collects all the problem devices in a single display
  • Device scan takes less than a minute
  • Update drivers and backup existing drives before running the upgrade
  • Requires Microsoft Windows 98, Millennium Edition (ME), 2000, XP, 2003, Vista, Server 2008, NT or 7 (64-bit or 32-bit)

Unknown Device Identifier is a device manager with improved features.
