Short description

Sometimes you have to prioritize which programs should receive more resources to run smoothly, but unfortunately until now you may not had the right tool at your disposal. Process Lasso can hardly be qualified as a simple task manager though. It will improve the responsiveness of your system and make it more stable.

Here are the key elements:

  • A wide range of advanced optimization functions for your system (core optimization, priority optimization, automated rules, affinity optimization, etc)
  • The Process Balance (ProBalance) feature is probably the most used out of Process Lasso’s capabilities (it allocates CPU resources automatically by adjusting the affinity)
  • Instead of letting Windows manage the resources allocated to each program (which by default is very loose), ProBalance will set rules in place for all the processes (as-needed and on-demand to make sure your system will not become unresponsive if an application has errors)
  • Customize which processes should use one CPU/core or another
  • Establish priorities for the programs you need (more than the others)
  • Block programs from running
  • Save detailed logs

Install Process Lasso if your system has become unresponsive or slow to your commands due to processes that use a high percentage of your CPU or RAM resources.
