Overview

Nero Video is a complete video animation software package which his able to support the very latest Ultra 4K video with a 3840 x 2160 resolution that many movies and TV shows are being recorded in digitally today. This resolution exceeds the Full HD 1080p resolution by twice the width and twice the height for a resolution that is 4 times improved. Especially useful for people viewing video content on 50-inch HD TV screens!

Use video stabilization to improve the jerkiness of hand-held video recording. Add good themes to video images. Animations can be added to jazz up what can be seen on a video. Publish completed video content over at Vimeo, YouTube or other tube sites. A single media library can be put together comprising of all photos, music and video content that you have. Add tags to more effectively label each digital asset so it can be better searched for later on. AVCHD and DVD-Video is supported for playback. Wireless beaming to iOS and Android is also part of the feature set.

Installation

Nero Video is 236 MB which makes it one of the larger downloads to pull in and install. The installation runs smoothly and is completed fairly quickly considering the size of the download. A Start menu item and desktop icon can be created via the application. No malicious content was included.

Interface

The interface looks like a digital editing bay. A video preview window is shown top left with many playback controls. My Media window, then the Effects Palette below this, and Properties for different effects are all situated to the right of the video preview.

The timeline editor is then shown below this. Multiple video and audio streams can be seen and edited. With this approach, the user can edit clips together more effectively.
