BackBlaze is a mostly cloud-based online backup system for the PC and Mac. Aimed primarily at businesses but also offering a personal account level too, BackBlaze allows the upload of data, and subsequent retrieval as a single ZIP file archive. Files can also be despatched via the USA postal system on a USB thumb drive or hard drive solution for additional fees. BackBlaze uses AES encryption and a SSL connection to transfer data. It's also possible to add your own private encryption key. Up to four weeks of file versions are retained. The service starts at just a few dollars a month and rises from there depending on what type of account is needed.
