"Award Winning Computer Tune Up Software."

Auslogics BoostSpeed is a handy solution for fixing your PC and speeding it up without being a software that needs special computer knowledge to use. It has numerous tools to maintain your computer like Disk Cleaner, Disk Doctor, Disk Defrag, Registry Defrag and others, with some extra features available for managing your files and programs, including File Shredder, Startup Manager, Uninstall Manager and File Recovery. Furthermore, if you notice any problems caused after using one of BoostSpeed’s tools you can revert any changes made since the Rescue Center feature makes backups of all settings before they were changed.

All it takes is just a few clicks to install this software in your computer. After a couple of minutes installation will have finished and the first thing you will see is a popup window that asks you to let the program create a restore point before it starts making changes to the system, in case something goes wrong at some point. It can run perfectly under any Windows XP, 2003, Vista, 2008 or 7 OS.

BoostSpeed has a clean interface that is easy to navigate. It has 4 tabs available: System Scan, System Advisor, Resource Usage and Advanced Tools. From the first one you can run a general system scan and repair any registry errors, delete junk files and broken shortcuts as well as defragment the hard disk. The second tab has suggestions about how your computer’s performance could be improved. Next in row is the Resource Usage tab which shows you information about CPU and RAM usage exactly like in Windows task manager. In the last tab you will find the rest of the features, and it’s probably the most important area of the program.

The system advisor has a list of several options that once applied, computer speed and security will definitely be increased. But that’s just the top of the iceberg, because if you go through all of the tools that BootSpeed has you will see that they are by far of higher caliber and do an excellent job at keeping your computer clean.

The new features in this version are File Recovery, Disk Doctor, Disk Explorer and System Scan. File Recovery will help you recover deleted files, Disk Doctor will check your hard drives for bad sectors and missing clusters, Disk Explorer is a tool to view space distribution in the disk and with System Scan you can perform a full system scan.

The trial version is very limited when it comes to repairing found errors as it only fixes a small amount of them. However, that’s not surprising since shareware often have those kinds of restrictions.

TuneUp Utilities is a choice that most people consider when looking for a computer optimization suite. It brings heavy weaponry but can be quite a pain to use in a slow system. On the other hand, WinUtilities is what you would compare to BootSpeed, as they both have about the same features, with the main difference being that WinUtilities also has a freeware version.

If you lack experience and want a reliable software to take care of the existing issues in Windows and make your PC run faster as it should be, then BootSpeed is what you should go for without a second thought.
