The system requires the JACK system to deal with MIDI and audio with low latency in order to produce the highest quality final recording. The GUI is full of muted greys and blacks, with white shading in places to lend the interface a sharp, focused look to it. What expands workstations are plug-ins. More than one hundred open source plug-ins are available. The software can handle LV2, LADSPA and AU plug-ins with this software. All the usual mixer features are also present like time stretching, fades and volume adjustment during a mix.
