"A perfect and easy tool to edit your audio."

Overview:

If you need a program to help you edit audio files, then AVS Audio Editor is for you. It has a variety of features that make it perfect for both beginners and professionals alike. You don't have to have any special skills to create fun and exciting audio files, and if you're talented at music editing, this program has lots for you to work with.

With AVS Audio Editor, you can cut, split, trim, merge, record, apply audio effects like voice morphing and text to speech, and lots more! You can save your edited files into a variety of formats, including MP3, WAV, PCM, WMA, OGG, FLAC, AMR, AAC, SHN, APE, QCP, MPA, MIDI, RA, and VOC. This software allows you to create custom unique ringtones for your Iphone or mobile device too!

Installation:

Installation of AVS Audio Editor couldn't be simpler. There are a few parameters you have to set to initialize the program, but after that, it starts up smoothly every time. The installation itself takes a few minutes, as the file size is around 40 megabytes. This audio editor is compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 2003, Windows 7, and Windows 8.

To run this software, you'll need a PC with a 1.5 GHz CPU (at least), 512 megabytes of RAM, and a compatible sound card. You'll also need Direct X 9.0c or later to get it to work properly.

Interface:

The interface of AVS Audio Editor is really great. All the options are laid out for you at the top of the program window in a toolbar. It looks quite stylish and visually attractive, and that's one of the reasons that beginner audio editors will like it so much. From the interface of the program, you can add effects, generate new sound files, use visual enhancement tools, and more. We really like how they designed the interface for this program and we found it to be very user friendly.

Pros:

  • User Friendly Interface Design Allows For Easy Beginner Editing
  • Full Version Is Affordable And Unlocks All The Additional Features
  • A Lot Of Time Went Into The Creation Of This Program

Cons:

  • Trial Version Embeds An Audio File Into Any Recordings Or Edits
  • Easy To Use, But Lacks Advanced Features Some People Will Find Limiting

Alternatives

WavePad Sound Editor Masters Edition - This software allows you to edit WAV files and other file formats too. If you take a look at the reviews this program has received, you'll see that most people are happy with it and that it's well worth the asking price. The trial version is fully functional for 14 days so you can try it out.

Expstudio Audio Editor Free - While Expstudio Audio Editor Free does lack a huge amount of features, it works well to manipulate and work with audio files. You can use it as audio conversion software, or to add additional effects to audio files. It's totally free to download and use this program, so you have nothing to lose by trying it.

Conclusion:

AVS Audio Editor is a great beginners audio editing software. Not only is it easy to use, but it has a few advanced features you can get into if you're so inclined. You can save your finished audio files in a variety of different formats, but watch out for the embedded audio file if you're working with the trial version. That's the only thing we don't like about the program, but if you purchase the full version, you get full control over your files again. Being able to create custom ringtones is another plus that we like about this program. All in all, this is a great software to try to see if it might work out for you.
