"A precision solar system simulator/calculator"
AstroGrav for Mac is a package for students of astronomy and astronomers who like to study the celestial movement of the stars, planets, comets and asteroids. The software can calculate how these bodies will move around taking into account the gravitational pull of the different objects in space. The star constellation can be studied to look at more than 100,000 that exist in outer space. The beauty of the software though is really the predictions it can make with regard to gravitational pull between astronomical bodies and how that changes the relative movement and positions of astronomical bodies in space. This version is for the Mac; there is a Windows version with similar features as well.
AstroGrav for Mac Key Features:
- Software to plot the movements of asteroids and comets, with the gravitational pull to stars and planets
- 100,000 stars may be mapped
- See when the next comet may pass nearest to Earth
- Great software for students and enthusiasts
- Windows version available
- Requires Mac
AstroGrav for Mac is an astronomers' software package to review asteroids, comets, planets and stars.
Requirements: Intel Core 2 Duo or better, Mac OS X 10.14 (Mojave) minimum, 4 GB RAM, 1GB disk space
What's new in this version: Corrected a serious evolution fault. Improved manually drawn angles on view windows.
