ShixxNOTE is a modern desktop sticky notes and LAN messaging application, fully compatible with Windows 10 and Windows 11. Whether you need a quick reminder on your desktop or want to instantly communicate with colleagues across your local network, ShixxNOTE has you covered. Creating a note is as simple as a double-click on the system tray icon, and your note appears on the desktop, ready to be shared, saved, or customized. The latest version brings a fresh modern color palette for default note themes, making your desktop more visually appealing than ever. New Close and Minimize buttons with smooth hover effects give the interface a clean, contemporary look without relying on bitmap images. Notes now support clickable URLs and email addresses. Links are detected automatically, and email addresses are recognized in real-time as you type, making communication faster and more intuitive. ShixxNOTE runs in client/server mode and transmits messages or notes to selected ShixxNOTE clients on the network. You can also send messages to machines that do not have ShixxNOTE installed, using the standard Windows Messenger service. Share notes with specific recipients or groups, save, print, export and import notes, set alarms and expiration dates, and fully customize their appearance to match your desktop theme. It is a reliable, configurable, and stable tool trusted by users since 2004, now better than ever for the modern Windows desktop.

What's new in this version: ShixxNOTE now follows the visual style of the Windows version it runs on, and every dialog was redesigned with the modern Segoe UI font and icons from the Fluent UI System Icons set that Microsoft uses in Windows 11 and Office. You can now send and receive email notes without Outlook by entering your account and mail servers directly, which works with Gmail and with the new Outlook. Email notes are read only from the date of the last check onwards, so older notes in the mailbox are never shown twice. When a note is sent to a computer that does not have ShixxNOTE running, the program now checks whether Windows messaging really delivered it instead of always reporting success.
