Hard Disk Sentinel is a hard drive testing facility with a few extra features to make it useful beyond solely periodic testing. The application shows the list of connected drives (including USB connected ones) down the left side. The drive name, drive size, drive number on the system, tested health percentage and current temperature are all shown. In this way, it's possible to see when one of the drives are overheating. Tests can be run at any time on individual drives. These tests provide an indication when a given drive may fail in the future and if any errors are detectable at the present time. Standard connected drives, e-SATA enclosures, RAID controllers and USB-connected drives can all be accessed and analyzed.
