Open e-LMS is the first open source Learning Management System designed for business by business. The interface is uncluttered and easy to use, but also very powerful. This corporate LMS is distributed freely under the GNU Open Source Licence which places no restrictions on its reuse and application. Open Elms also provides a Content Management System which enables the creation of professional e-learning content from scratch. This is provided with a course library, both of which can be freely used within your immediate organization.

Open e-LMS is a result of a collaborative project for industry - current users of the technology include corporate business clients Merrill Lynch, NHS, SeaFrance and the National Council of School Leaders. More details of the system's users can be found on the site - www.openelms.org.
