"Scans multiple files looking for a REGEX"

Pluck is a searching tool that can look through directories, sub-directories or whole hard drives or SSDs looking for matching patterns. The Pluck Java utility uses regular expressions in the regex pattern to run a recursive search through the specific folder and all sub-folders looking for matches under the conditions of the pattern matching used in the regular expression. Pluck is activated via the command line which can run the search and output the full findings in a convenient CSV file which can be opened in OpenOffice, LibreOffice or Microsoft Excel later on. Wild card searches are not supported. The Java app will only find *.html, *.htm, *.xml and *.txt file types unless the program is changed internally.
