"Removes duplicate lines from text files."
DeDup is a Java command line utility to locate and choose to remove duplicate files. Locate one or numerous duplicate files and take a batch decision on what to do with all the duplicates found. Runs as a Java applet and can use the Java command line to run it how you wish with clever command sequences. Program would suit administrators who like using the command line as opposed to clumsy desktop front-end applications that can do much the same thing. The Java utility can be used with wild card searches to find portions of file names rather than exact match search solutions only which makes the application far more useful. Does not search sub-directories.
