DeskSpace (formerly Yod'm 3D) is a rather flashy desktop manager which using advanced 3D graphics to display a floating, rotatable cube with each desktop window occupying a single side of this large cube. Using hot-key combinations, it's possible to activate the nearest desktop to the current one, the previous one in the list and rotate the cube around until you spot the desktop you wish to switch to. The desktops are essentially virtual environments in so much as they turn a single desktop Windows environment into a multi-desktop environment. Change the desktop wallpaper individually for one virtual desktop or use the taskbar option to see a list of the current desktops to quickly switch between them. An advanced NVidia GeForce or ATI Radeon card is required to power the 3D cube rotating effect.
