Stella is a multi-platform Atari 2600 emulator which is capable of playing old Atari games in a PC environment. The emulator was originally created y Bradford W. Mott in a Linux operating system but there is now a full development team who have been busy porting this emulator over to Windows, Mac OS X, Linux distributions, OS/2 and Unix. This way everyone can enjoy playing some old computer games on the classic Atari 2600 like Chopper Command and Keystone Kapers, both by Activision which is still in the gaming business decades later. Before even the ZX Spectrum with its gaming prowess was released, the Atari 2600 have the home gaming world to itself.
