R-Studio for Linux is a file recovery utility that runs on the Linux operating system. With it, it is possible to locate files across multiple platforms like Windows, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, Solaris and also Mac formatted drives. Any files recovered can be saved to a drive of your choosing including NTFS, FAT, ext2 and ext3. Supports RAID arrays such as RAID 4, RAID 5, RAID 6, grid RAID layouts, stripe sets, volume sets and more. Create a bootable rescue disk that can run from a disk or from a USB device like a USB thumb drive. Use the viewing plug-in to view many different kinds of recovered files inside the recovery application.
