"File archiver utility for Linux, RAR opener"
PeaZip for Linux is a file and archive manager that runs on several Linux-based desktops including KDE and Gnome. The package runs as an easy to use front end to Linux utilities like FileRoller and Ark which perform the actual functions behind the scenes. This package works with open source formats like 7-Zip, and over 150 other archives such as TAR, ZIP, BZ2, WIM, ACE, ISO, LHA and others. It is also possible to create your own archives in a shorter list of possible archives containers. Create hash numbers for the size of the archive to verify its checksum. Interface is closer to CD burning layout than to traditional archive manager.
