"saves/restores the master boot sector"
BOOTSave/BOOTRest is a master boot record saver which can keep a record of the way the system boots up. There are three utilities with this package that help to protect the boot record from corruption or damage, can back up the MBR and restore it where it becomes corrupted. The system works with DOS, O/S and Windows 3.x, 95, 98 and ME. It does not work with other versions of Windows like 7 or 8. It is recommended that you boot up with a disc if the MBR is no longer booting correctly and can also then restore from a saved MBR in the same manner once the system is temporarily running again.
BOOTSave/BOOTRest Key Features:
- Saves the master boot record (MBR) information
- Capable of reinstalling MBR if it becomes corrupted
