Free Image Resizer is a re-sizing tool that interfaces with Windows Explorer using a shell extension to bring up a right-click context-sensitive menu option. Highlight the images that you wish to re-size – it can be just one or many – and select the image resizing option within the menu. The Software Image Resizer app will then save new copies of these original image files in three sizes: small, medium and large. Filename suffixes will be added to make it clear which is which. This is most useful for people who wish to create thumbnails quickly for use on web pages. It can save time rather than loading up images and changing their sizes manually.
