"Watermarking Images has never been this easy"
One of the most common and efficient ways to protect your images (other than locking them in your drawer) is by adding watermarks. Although possible, it’s quite difficult to remove a watermark from an image and the results aren’t always satisfying. Mass Watermark is a program used to add watermarks to your images and has many additional features as well (resizing, cropping, editing EXIF data, etc.).
Installation is pretty smooth and has no difficult steps. All you need to do is click Next a few times and then wait for the main installation process to finish, which won’t take more than a few seconds. The setup package is clean from viruses, spyware or other kinds of malware. It doesn’t install any additional 3rd party software either (e.g. toolbars).
Supported operating systems are Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8.
At first glance you might find the program a bit intimidating, but don’t worry- you’ll get used to it very soon. At the top left is a window which basically lists all added files, and the window next to it is the preview screen for the selected image. In the lower half of the main window you can see 3 boxes filled with options. The first one is used when you want to add a text watermark and edit its font, color, size, etc. The second box is used when you want to add an image/logo watermark that can be transparent, resized, cropped etc. The last box contains settings that can convert, resize, optimize, etc. the image you want to add the watermark on.
There’s a big amount of features that make the program useful for various cases. The watermark can either be a text with user-defined font, size and color, or it can be an image/logo of your choice which can be resized and cropped. In either case, the watermark can be positioned freely in the image as well as have its transparency adjusted. The watermark placer is a feature which gives you the ability to move the watermark on the image using drag and drop, plus rotate it and resize it.
But that’s just half of what Mass Watermark can do. Manual optimization of the images is possible by adjusting brightness and contrast or using effects like sharpen, blur, smoothen and mean removal. You can also edit metadata/EXIF info and last but not least, convert the image to another format (supported output formats are JPEG, PNG, BMP, GIF and TIF).
If you have a Windows 7 custom theme installed, than you might experience this bug: often crashes on different occasions, such as when changing text color or when attaching the image watermark to the text watermark. We did experience this during our test but a fix should come out soon. Author's note:Â Only a very few people have reported such a problem; this tend to occur when a custom theme is installed. I will investigate the issue and let you know when it is solved.
The trial version adds the Mass Watermark logo on all processed pictures.
Batch Photo Watermarker (paid) is a software designed to add watermarks to images easily. The main advantage of this program is that it can process images in batches. SizeRox (paid) is another tool that you can use to add watermarks to your images.
Although it is a powerful program, there are a few bugs that need to be fixed before it can be considered as a stable solution.

You'll have to open a ticket on the Mass Watermark support, for one time your license will be activated. If any bad happens to your disk, you decide to upgrade the OS and you simply forget to deactivate the program, you will receive the answer that I've received below from the support:
"Sorry for any inconvenience caused. But the discounted license only allows limited activation.
Before you reinstall your OS there is an option to deactivate Mass Watermark. When I checked your last ticket I have found that we mentioned this to you. (my note: you don't have the right to forget this...)
I don't mean that you are trying to violate the license terms but as per our policy there is nothing we can do.
You are free to use any software of your choice."
This is the consideration granted to the customer !!!!! Stay away!!!
