"Calculates DPI to pixels."
When you design pictures, most image editing software available will set the size in pixels. However, if you want to print the image, you’ll notice your printer uses DPI (dots per inch). If you want to make sure the image you’re going to print looks okay, you should use the same size in both the photo editing software and the printing process.
Here’s how Mihov DPI to Pixel Calculator works:
- If you resize a picture, the number of pixels will change with it (that’s why when you try to make a small image bigger you’ll notice a slight stretching effect)
- Digital images use pixels to measure the height and width of an image, while the physical printer uses DPI
- If you want to make sure the pixels, inches and DPIs go well together, you should use this tool and enter the Desired DPI, the size in inches or centimeters and calculate the pixel size
- Most printers are able to scale down the image and print it correctly, but they will not be able to scale it up
Install Mihov DPI to Pixel Calculator if you need the exact size in pixels corresponding to a DPI resolution & the size of the sheet of paper in inches / centimeters.
