"Finally able to experience true high fidelity"
DFX for Windows Media Player is a separate application that aims to get the best out of digitized audio-based content by removing the audio artifacts that creep into compressed audio over the internet. The app comes in a free and premium version. The premium version adds extended slider interactions (limited to 5 of 10 total positions in free version). Headphone setting is restricted too. The three processing modes include two for music and one for speech. There are three regular sized skins and three mini-player skins where the player immediately swaps to its mini size. The difference in the sound quality when running DFX to switching it off, is a revelation. The free version has enough options to make it useful, with the premium version adding pleasing extras too. The company now offers similar software for iOS and Android too.
DFX for Windows Media Player Key Features:
- Improve audio quality immensely with new audio drivers and controls
- Night and day difference in music performance
- Works with Windows Media Player and other apps like VLC, RealPlayer and iTunes
- Requires Windows XP, 7 or 8
DFX for Windows Media Player is a terrific audio utility that vastly improves your audio playback in a range of multimedia apps.
