"DIN Is Noise is a software musical instrument"
DIN Is Noise is a package that lets you play a music instrument whether you use Windows, Mac OS X or Linux as your operating system of choice. Play with Bezier curves to help create waveforms in the shape that you want. Set up the beats. Perform amplitude and frequency modulation, playback delays and so on. Create drones that can use microtone to develop the sounds needed in real-time. Both MIDI and OSC input is supported too. Whilst the software is one that will suit visual musicians who like to play with ideas rather than be stuck with a blank sheet of music paper, the software would also be fun for youngsters to play with if they like musical ideas but currently lack any formal education in music.
DIN Is Noise Key Features:
- Create Bezier curves as waveforms to design music as you want it heard
- Use MIDI and OSC inputs to add ideas from compatible kit
- Adjust beats, apply amplitude and frequency adjustments
DIN Is Noise is an interesting experimental music creator to visually play with waveforms.
