Blue Cat's DXi Manager is a clever little utility that helps with getting DXi plug-ins to play nicely with applications that allow the inclusion of DXi but still reject some of them. With this package, it's possible to avoid the issues of plug-ins not being recognized or recognized incorrectly as software synthesizers. Change the basis of a DXi plug-in by changing its makeup so it appear to have no MIDI capabilities at all. This will then fool audio applications into installing it and then the full capability of a plug-in can be enjoyed.
