"Grabs digital audio from cd's"

One of the best ripping software products on the audio market that you can find is probably Audiograbber. The goal of Audiograbber is to copy music from external sources such as a CD or radio and save it on the hard drive in formats such as WAV, MP3, WMA, or OGG files. It is a fast and reliable product that enjoys a lot of popularity. Because it is easy to use and at the same time, the user is presented with a lot of options, this software program has enjoyed a lot of favorable reviews from its users. Let’s analyze its features in this quick article.

The installation of Audiograbber is speedy; thanks to the tiny size of its installation kit (around 1 MB). Don’t underestimate its capabilities though! It works on all the versions of the Windows operating system and it doesn’t come bundled with other tools. However, here’s a tip! After the installation is complete, the first thing you should do is to download the LAME encoder. This will give you access to high quality MP3 files.

The interface of Audiograbber is clean, easy to use and intuitive. It is perfect for inexperienced users who who don’t know anything about encoding as well as providing enough options to satisfy even the most demanding professionals. What we like about the interface is that it strikes a perfect balance between these two worlds. Moreover, it looks great and stylish too. The icons and buttons are carefully crafted and you can also get access to the integrated video player for previewing purposes.

The first thing you should know is that Audiograbber is an efficient product. It boasts two different modes: ASPI and Analog for ripping your CDs. The analog mode works at 1x speed but with the other mode; you can easily get the speed of 20x. Just enjoy and watch a movie or even listen to some music at the same time. Many features are provided by this great ripping tool such as normalization which will allows you to get nice results from any CD and the adjustment of peak levels. You can remove the silence phase at the beginning or the end of tracks and if you wish to encode to MP3 format files, you can use the internal encoders as well as external ones. Checksum options, song comparison and a manual recording tool are all implemented in Audiograbber.

In terms of cons, there isn’t really anything to be said about Audiograbber. We think it’s one of the best in its field. Of course, more speed is always welcomed!

If you wish to know about some alternatives for Audiograbber, you might want to check out Exact Audio Copy, CDex, Easy CD-DA Extractor and Sound Juicer (Gnome Desktop). These are all pretty good but if you want a truly great program which is jam-packed with features, Audiograbber is the way to go.

By the end of this article, you should already know that nothing else really comes close to Audiograbber. Without a doubt, it is one of the leading ripping software programs out there. What is more is that it is freeware! What more could you ask? Give it a try!
