Peces (tangram game) is an open-source game that is reminiscent of a Chinese game known as Tangram. The core objective of Peces is to build different figures by lining up triangles, rectangles, squares and other objects. The game gets progressively more difficult with 39 gaming modes and 4 difficulty levels to work your way through. The figures to work on can also be selected from a list of trees, boats, animals, etc. The game works on a timer basis, which only starts when the first piece is moved. Therefore, each player can time themselves in order to try to beat their best time. There are as many as 18,000 Tangram designs and the number of pieces can vary from 3 to up to 14 pieces. It is also possible to create and add custom figures. The new figures can then be saved in the PC and re-used for another game later.
