"A mobile phone manager."
Wammu is a mobile phone manager which is the front-end and Gammu is used as a back-end. The software can access older mobile phones like Nokia, Siemens and Alcatel but it not necessarily guaranteed to work with modern smart phones. The package can connect to a mobile phone, read in its data and display it within the application. Calendar information, all incoming and outgoing calls, the list of contacts and their details, all incoming and outgoing messages, and the To Do items can all be imported and viewed. Messages can also be exported to an IMAP4 server for possible long-term storage.
Wammu Key Features:
- Front-end for Gammu which lets the user access older mobile phone information
- Import calendar entries, all incoming and outgoing calls, the list of contacts and their details, all incoming and outgoing messages, and To Do lists
