Altova StyleVision 2010 Professional Edition is a powerful visual XSLT stylesheet designer for graphically designing templates that render eye-catching HTML and RTF output from XML or database data and create intuitive Authentic electronic forms. StyleVision is fully standards-compliant and supports XSLT 1.0, XSLT 2.0, CSS, JavaScript, and all major databases. It even has a built-in HTML importer that automatically converts an HTML page into an XML file, XSLT stylesheet, and XML Schema to allow Web designers to migrate to XML easily and efficiently. Numerous templates are provided for handling industry standard XML vocabularies such as DITA and DocBook, and you can build your own templates for use with Altova Authentic 2010, Altova?s WYSIWYG XML and DB content editor. Authentic forms let business users directly access and edit XML documents or databases without being exposed to the underlying technology. StyleVision simplifies the creation of advanced XSLT stylesheets and electronic forms with its automated approach to stylesheet writing. The visual design interface offers two different paradigms for designing presentation output: in a document-flow or layout-based model. You can even upload a blueprint image to use as a guide for your design template. Output or XSLT 1.0/2.0 code can be viewed at any time. Stylesheets designed using StyleVision can be based on XML Schemas, DTDs, or database structures, and can support business logic validation, complex tables, tables of contents, conditional formatting, direct template filtering, date control, and much more. In addition, StyleVision integrates fully with Visual Studio and Eclipse, allowing you to access its graphical interface and advanced design capabilities directly from within your favorite IDE.
