Power Monitor Off is a utility to help save power and money by turning off the external monitor whenever it is not needed. A hot key can be assigned to instantly turn off the monitor. Alternatively, moving the mouse into a corner of the desktop can also be configured to turn off the monitor too. Lock the workstation and power off at the same time to protect future unauthorized access while the user is away from the keyboard. Create a desktop shortcut to launch the monitor power off process. The trial version allows up to 15 monitor turn off processes before the software will time out.
