XULPlayer is an open-source media player built on Mozilla XUL and MPlayer. It intends to be a flexible, user-friendly desktop media player with support for most popular audio and video formats and rich user experience. Further milestones include development of a fully featured and easy-to-navigate media library and support for mobile device transcoding based on the MediaCoder Device Extension Center.
