PMPal© is a collaborative software tool that assists software development organizations to seamlessly collaborate across all the concerned entities of software development, namely, Software Team, Project Management, Quality Department, and Senior Management.
It goes beyond PERT/CPM based tools and provides all necessary functionalities for a successful software project manager.
For Project Team ? it assists in the transaction processing of day to day activities connected with developing the software and handles all the mundane issues. It takes away tedium from work allocation, work breakdown structure and work execution activities. It makes intra-team communications much easier.
For the Project Manager, it does away the activity of Project Metrics computation and reporting as PMPal makes them available to those concerned as a report. It makes it easier for the PM in progress collation and reporting.
For the Senior Management, it makes all the critical Project-related information at their finger tips thru a host of reports with analyses, which makes their decision making a ?data-based? one and hence more accurate and effective.
For Quality Department, no more collation of Metrics and related record keeping ? PMPal provides almost all metrics in the areas of Quality (Defect Metrics), Productivity, Effort, and Schedule. It also provides significant visuals facilitating inferencing and decision making.
