Developer Description

"Playback Flash inside of your Mac application"

With Flash'in'App, Cocoa framework, developed by Eltima Software, you can easily load and fully manage Flash movies directly from your own applications for Mac OS X! In other words Flash'in'App lets you implement Flash Player component in your application.

This framework contains a set of classes, which provide your application with the ability to play SWF files and manage their playback. Play, stop, rewind and forward SWF file right within your application!
With Flash'in'App your application can interact with Flash Player.plugin and SWF files themselves via ExternalAPI, FSCommands or Variables, control external resources loading and much more.

Implement Flash'in'App framework into your application and thus extend its functionality in a several times because your application will be able to work with all types of media files, which are compatible with Flash movies.

Flash'in'App offers RealVideo support and experimental Silverlight support.
And yes, you can create custom-shaped windows, but please note, that transparency will only work correctly on Intel-based Macs (sorry, it's not our limitation, but Adobe's one).

With Flash'in'App you can also run your Windows Flash-enabled applications' GUI on Mac.
The only one demo limitation is a nag screen shown when opening a SWF file. As for the other features, it is a fully functional framework, which will let you test all of its features and abilities for free.

Your users will need at least Mac OS X10.4 or later and Flash Player 8 or newer to run applications that are developed with Flash'in'App.

Requirements: Mac OS 10.4 and higher

What's new in this version: much improved: communication with Flash Player; fixed: application crash when sending large amounts of data between ActionScript in SWF and application using the FSCommand function or the ExternalInterface class
