ServerSentinel is a monitoring software for servers, hard drives, network services and memory usage across server platforms. There are monitoring sensors which track important metrics like processor temperatures to ensure that systems do not develop a fault should a fan component fail suddenly. Issues with a server or connected component can be alerted to the administrator via email, warning sound or text to speech verbal warning. This can be useful for system admins who are not at the office the whole time but who can be summoned when an issue arises. Full logging and other processes are in place to record what happens at the server level.
